Jul. 22nd, 2006 07:20 pmUsing completely recycled/otherwise thrown out materials, I created the perfect stand to organize and hold all of my finger and toe rings

Made from:
1 Chunk of high density insulation foam (Dad's a roofing consultant.. gets lots of samples of random thick foam)
1 Broken blinds turner. You know, the stick you turn to make the blinds open? Yeah... I broke it.
4 Ugly blue plastic flower buttons ripped from an otherwise cute skirt
1 Tablespoon of Cadmium Yellow Light acrylic paint that exploded and had to be used immediately (yeah.. the stand is BRIGHT yellow)
All I did was bend the blinds turner until it broke into 4 very uneven yet artistic (haha) pieces, stuck em in the foam, stuck the buttons on front, and covered the whole thing in paint.
Happy crafting!
