Seattle inspiration
Jul. 23rd, 2006 02:50 pmIf you happen to find yourself in Seattle, I recommend stopping by Wannabee on the corner of 52nd and Brooklyn. It's a coffeeshop and gallery that has amazing tables with things set into cast cement and currently has some really cool stencil-on-plywood portraits. Example of their deep craftiness: one of their windows got hit sometime last week, and they have done a temporary patch on it with a filligree silver disc and a metal scarab.
The coffee is good, too. I was inspired to finally post this when I went there today to get fuel to finish patterning the linen top I'm working on (pics eventually).
