So while the boyfriend was at work yesterday, I decided I need to keep myself busy. So from 5:00pm to 2:00am, I sewed like a madwoman! I was only going to make one little purse for my little sister, but it turned out good, so I decided to make another, from a tutorial I found on craftster, and then that turned out even better, so I tried my luck and made one last bag! I love them ALL!!

I also put up a necklace me and my mother made, and a pair of earrings I made. They are simple, but I love the effect the have!

Bag number One. Tiny Tote for Torio

My little sister Victoria wanted a bag made from these materials. I talked her into doing the button closure, because I though it would look extra cute!

The handles were recycled from a purse my other sister made awhile back, and decided to trash.

And the inside has a tall skinnier pocket for pens/lipgloss, and another wider shorter pocket for random stuff.

Bag number two. Rose print pleated tote.

I saw a tutorial on craftster for this pleated tote, and have wanted to make it for a long time now! But I never knew what fabric to use. I forgot I had 2 yards of this stuff I bought on sale along time ago, and as soon as I found it, i knew what I wanted to do with it! I followed the tutorial almost to the end before I realized that it didnt include lining!! But I was to far along to fix it then. Next time though! : )

Its the perfect size. And it fits right under my arm.

My first time pleating something. I always thought it was alot harder than it actually is!

Bag number three. HUGE red and white school/beach bag.

I wanted a huge bag for all my junk for school, to go to the beach with, or to use as an overnight bag. I wanted something with easy access, so I made a gigantic tote! Its a lightweight cotton, and a heavy linnen lining. I spent extra time ironing and pinning to make the inside look amazing too, but i forgot to take a pic of that...I will have to get that up later! I had the pockets already made, I had planned on using them on this:

tunic, but I didnt like how that looked when the shirt was finished. I think they are way more useful and better looking here anyways!

All the seams are heavy duty, and I made the straps durable, so that heavy books wont break this baby!

And with me, so you can see the size.
