Today, I decided to experiment with clay that dries when left... well... in contact with... the air.
That's pretty much it, because I'm an idiot and don't know how to explain it any better.
My point is, you don't need to bake it.
Here are the things I made (and that sadly, will be given away as gifts)!

I don't know if anyone is familiar with the (free!) MMORPG Maple Story,
but this is one of the first monsters you encounter. The Slime.
Pretty damn adorable, for something that almost killed me when I started playing.

And here's something for my aunt! ^_^
She bought me the clay and a new paintbrush (and a bracelet, and a Hello Kitty pencilcase -- just so you know) so this is my way to say thank her.
I actually googled "raccoon + cheese", to see if I got any results. And there was this tiny, tiny picture of a racoon eating cheese. So I guess it's not that implausible.
Oh, and... don't ask me why it's pink. I really don't know.
All of these were painted with acrylic paint (leftovers from my brother's Warhammer addiction).
And then gouache for the black parts, because we were out of black acrylic paint.
My final thoughts?
I'd rather make things with FIMO, because... it's easier. Yeeeep yep yep.
Oh, and just because Photoshop was here and allowed me to edit a picture by *gasp!* adding text, here's something for all you Wallace and Gromit fans:

I thought his look was priceless. ^_^
