craftgrrli'm fairly new to the arts+crafts world, but i'm interested in making beaded necklaces and bracelets. i was wondering what type of material i should use to hold the beads together- strings, wire, leather cord, plastic cord? i'm not sure what's the longest-lasting. any and all help is very welcome.
also- what type of clasp is the strongest? i used to use hook-and-eye fixtures meant for sewing, for lack of anything better, but those are a little too strong.
