Hello everyone! I'm new to the community and I must say I'm very impressed with all of the amazing stuff and tutorials posted, gosh. I'm very new to all of this, I guess a total fish out of water. I'm really interested in starting to make clothes and bags and such. Right now I'm working on a cupon book, super excited. The only real crafty stuff I've been doing is stenciling, which I've only been doing about 2 months or so.


This is just a little penguin I made for my jerky ex-boyfriend for Christmas. It made sense since he loved penguins. It's just made of your basic modeling clay and some wire frameing I stole from my film class.

I made a little hat for him to because I'm a freak

Also while I'm posting I might as well ask about this. It just so happens that my moms sewing machine broke a few weeks ago. She was thinking about buying me one as a late birthday present but is kind of unsure what she should be looking for. It would be great if someone could help point us in the right direction of what we should be looking for. I don't really want anything to complex considering I'm not going to be doing a lot with it and I'm new to it. I'm just interested in makeing some bags, cloths and little things. Thanks in advance!
