Help! (Light fixture)

it's been quite awhile since I posted here last, but I am in need of an idea!!
I have the UGLIEST light fixture on the ceiling of my new apartment.... I've been trying to come up with a way to make a sweet light fixture very cheaply.
I looked in the FAQ and there didn't seem to be anything there...
Any suggestions?! I don't really have a preference of material, but something that can take a 60watt bulb.
