I am hoping someone can help me out! A friend's been making jewelry and other cool shtuff out of polymer clay and she's been using the most awesome paints: (Jacquard Lumiere is what I'm looking at).
I want to try them out, but apparently they're only carried in certain stores (my friend is lucky enough to have a store near her), and I'd have to drive about an hour and a half to get to the one closest to me. And Dick Blick charges $8 shipping for a $10 item that'd take a week to get to me (urgh ripoff).
Has anyone seen these paints in well-known/widespread crafts stores? Or do you have a recommendation for a cheaper place to buy the durn things online? I'd really like to try that starter pack but I don't want to pay so much for such slow shipping. If all else fails, I'll ask my friend to look at her crafts store for me, but I'd rather not send her to do extra running if I can help it.
