Feb. 3rd, 2003 12:22 amI'm new to the community and crafting in general. I only really got into making things during the last two years. I blame it on attending an art college :)
Anyhow, this is one of the spur-of-the-moment projects I did tonight.

I took one of my old thrift store tees and just hacked away at it with some scissors. I've tried doing this before and it didn't work out at all, but now I think I have the cuts down that flatter my figure the most (wide open necks and off the shoulder sleeves). I plan on picking up some sweat shirts at Goodwill this week so I can do the same thing because sweats can be hip too!
I also did a bit of detailing on an old tie I had laying around with some red thread and red felt. You can spruce anything up with a little felt and thread.
But yea, I just thought I'd introduce myself :)
