hello, just thought that i would introduce myself, seeing as how i've been lurking for a couple of weeks now:) i would really like to compliment everyone on all the beautiful crafts you gals are making, you all do such wonderful jobs. i love opening up my friends page and seeing all the new crafty posts and pics^_^

well, down to business:
i promise i've scoured the faq page as much as humanly possible, considering that i'm on school computers(i don't own a computer myself), which are really testy and aggravating. i was wondering if anyone could give me any information about dyeing clothing? can you dye crushed velvet? what about polyester? i'm planning on doing them black, and also throwing in some of my faded clothing. also, i read somewhere that if you brew a cup of dark tea, and throw it in the wash with your faded black clothing, that it will bring them back to life a little. has anyone ever tested this out? how well does it work?
