Aug. 15th, 2006 09:02 pmI've been having a small problem of sorts. I decided to make a soda tab belt usin this method I found here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=33593.0;all
Anyway, I decided on gold and black fabric ribbon. The black is fine but the gold is fraying at the ends. Is there a way I can reinforce this since the gold is more of a shiny metallic fabric than it is plain fabric? I was thinking reinforcing the ends with fabric or leather since the frayng will be a problem over time since this is a tie-on belt...but what stitch?...or is there a better way?
