rattie cage repaint..
Aug. 17th, 2006 07:28 pmok so this is an odd thing but i just sealed/primed my wooden rat cage and painted it. now i want to seal it with something that will give some resistance both to just general wear of ratties walking all over it but also for the urine.
anyways my question is what should it be sealed/coated with?
have had a couple suggestions but with all the products of sealers, varnish, shellac, etc etc and all that stuff, just dont really know what would work best. once friend said i just needed some hi gloss clear paint..
anyways anyone who has experience with these products can tell me what to look for to get?
luckily they only rarely chew on the cage, mainly only if i dont have other things in there for them to play with for some reason or another..
