Hey all,

You may remember me from asking about leather bracelets and rings for my anniversary. Well, I ended up going in a different direction. This is what I made for the boy..



The ring idea didn't pan out, and his fingers being crowded enough I decided to make him a bracelet which would be my version of the promise ring-



And this is the other side...



It's the "butterfly" stitch in lanyard..just with leather. I had to take out a lot of the stitches when I gave it to him, I'm not a very good judge of appropriate size.

Also, he's been wanting a nice wooden box to keep things in, so I found this one-



And I was really not a fan of the design in the top, especially for a guy. So I got some nice smooth river pebbles and ta-da!



The hot glue gun is my best friend. I made something else but I don't have pictures. I think the best part though was that my boy surprised me by being very crafty himself and making me a dreamcatcher out of twine, sticks, stones, acorns, and feathers. Here:
