Since my internet-pal Julie brings me so much laughter and fun on a regular basis (and sent me pretty much the best surprise package *ever*), I decided to sneak-attack her back with some crafty mail.
This is the full contents of the box sent. One crazy cd-holder containing two fun cds, some bubble gum "bandages" (since we have a 'band-aid' thing), some sassy cacti drink stirrers, a homemade card featuring the delectable Gob from "Arrested Development" (since she *loves* that guy), a bottle cap pin featuring a sexy lady in a martini glass, and some Diesel Sweeties stickers for good measure:

A view of the front of the cd cover, complete with rockin' vampire:

A shot of the inside, so that you can see the cd playlists. I thought she might like some funny stuff, so I made one disc of Jonathan Coulton tunes and one of Flight of the Conchords tracks. The tracklists were super fun to make--I just printed them out, crumpled them up, droooled old red nail polish down the edges, and voila! The sequinned blood droplets are just for extra 'bling':

Tiny traffic cone photo shoot!

I personalized it and gave it to the friend who suggested that I make it. It's about five inches tall total and pleasantly squishy. He pretty much loved it, so yay. :)
And just for fun, a shot of the dark chocolate/raspberry cake that he and I made last night during our first date:

It's been a good week!
