Scratches on fake leather
Aug. 22nd, 2006 11:47 pmOk, this is mainly a text only post, but I'll include a simple costume I had made for myself before to keep you you all entertained at my nerdiness.
Anyhoo, I was at the thrift store today and I saw this awesome fake leather type material jacket/dress thing for $5. Only prob is that it has a bunch of white stuff on part of the back, kind of like when you scratch leather. I was just wondering if there was a way to get rid of that. I was watching Pretty Woman today (shush, I'm not usually a chick flick person, but we all have have some interests we don't like admitting to >_>) and Julia Roberts was coloring in her black leatherish boots with permanent marker. Would that work? Is there a better, non-ghetto, but just as cheap way to fix it? I really wanna buy it, but not if it looks all damaged.
Simple but cute bunny girl cosplay for Anime Central 2005. My grandpa helped me make the arm and leg warmers and also the giant carrot backpack. I love that thing, it has straps so I can carry it on my back, a zipper compartment for me to keep my things in, plus it's super soft and makes a great pillow. <3
I've made a bunch of other things, but my bf is the one with the digicam and I always forget to take pix. Some day I'll just have a huge photoshoot and post all my stuff. Anyhoo, I'd appreciate any help/advice you guys can give me. Thank you! ^_^
