1 - obtain material
(hoodie, pants, what have you)

2 - put cardboard underneath the material you'll be bleaching.

3 - pin it down
you can't see it well, but it's pinned down through the materiqal onto a piece of cardboard

4 - cut out stencil

5 - draw the outline of the stencil onto the material with a pastel
white works fine on darks

6 - fill in outlines with bleach
bleach gel pen is the best! you'll see parts turn as you work on the rest, just keep working

7 - let it sit
it'll never be even, but if you want it to be as even as it can, let it sit for a bit

8 - unpin and remove cardboard and throw in the washing machine all in one fell swoop
be VERY careful when you place it in the washer, if it touches parts you don't want bleache dyou might get screwed

9 - wash again
i had to wash mine twice to get all the stuff off and i still had to hand rinse. i put a LOT on

10 - dry it and enjoy!

as you can see in the last picture some bleach got on some other parts of the hoodie while in the wash.
i still love it! i have such a unique hoodie no!
