(If you wish to be removed from the list, just follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.)
What is In.Fest.Ed? Well, In.Fest.Ed (short for the Independent Festival of Education) is a festival that includes educational skill-sharing workshops, DIY political bands/performers, an art gallery, a film fest and much more. The goal of this event is to bring people together in an atmosphere where education and community are valued as much as the bands.
An important aspect of In.Fest.Ed is that everyone us encouraged to avoid the role of passive spectator and participate in some way. Whether it's leading a workshop, performing in the variety show, displaying your art in the gallery, or organizing a spontaneous scavenger hunt or kickball game -- the success of this event depends partly on you.
WORKSHOPS
The main focus of the workshops at In.Fest.Ed is on DIY/how-to topics, with an emphasis on sustainable living. We'd like to steer away from theoretical stuff and vague general topics and work with more practical subjects. Workshop slots are still available, so if you think you have a valuable skill you'd like to share with others at In.Fest.Ed, then visit our web page for more info on workshop submissions.
