i have several punched tin dia los muertos ornaments that have been painted with some sort of metal glaze/paint to tint them....its definately not an acrylic or anything, because it has a transparent quality to it. anyone have any idea what's used to achieve this effefect? here's an example, almost like if you colored tin foil with markers or something:
