Noooo! I was right in the middle of a stitch!

What are everyone's opinions on Lion Brand's Chenille Thick & Quick yarn? I was in the middle of a stitch today when the yarn just snapped. Luckily I was only a few rows into practice knitting but I'm wondering if I should be hesititant to use it for something important in case it tends to snap on a regular basis. Anyone love it or hate it or have any other kinds of problems with it?
