craftgrrl | Scrapbook pages - large pictures

In addition to my LJ being a delve into my life after the age of 21, I started a scrapbook from my 21st birthday. These are the first three events in it. I have four pages alotted for my vacation, but I haven't had the time (or inclination) to look through all of my pictures to make those pages.

Though I really like the types of pages that are very open and have a lot of space, my main reason for scrapping is to include as many photos as possible. I'll probably start allowing more pages for events that have more photos, like I should have done with my birthday page, but for now, I actually like the fulness of these pages, and though they may look cluttered to others, there's a definite organizational theme apparent to me :)

The first pages are the pages from my birthday. The left side is pictures from my family's party for me, with parents, brother, and grandparents. The right side is pirctures from the party that my boyfriend threw for me.

The second set of pages requires a little more explaining. I work at Barnes and Noble and we have story time every saturday morning. Each week, someone dresses up as one of the characters from the book. This week was "If you give a mouse a cookie" and I was the mouse :) The guy in the picture is one of my friends (leomar - if you're looking in my journal info), who took all of the pics that day (except that one)

The last set of pages shows my severe nerdity, but I'm proud. This is my favorite so far. I went to my first Star Trek Convention this weekend!! The blue thing on the left page is the program from the convention. The back cover is glued down so you can flip through it. The guy with the blue shirt on is my aforementioned beau.
