craftgrrlit's been forever and a day since i posted here!
my boyfriend and i were involved in a production of Dames at Sea and he put himself in charge of the gift for the director(s). he had the cast meet up in front of the USS Midway with their sailor hats and we took some nice photos. in addition to making the big collage frames for the directors, we made these little frames for each cast member:

it's not much, and it's not terribly clever, but i'm proud of it. i used the 4x6 frames from IKEA and painted them (i made 9 total). i used stickers for the words and included gold stars because some of the characters in the show were in the navy. i used the triple thick glaze sealant spray to finish them. they were a big hit and i thought they came out pretty cute!
