clock help

Somewhat craft related, because if i can't fix this, I'll have to make a new clock . . haha I didn't know where else to ask . .Google was no help. You guys are always great at answers.

I have a clock question, for the clock specialists out there.

The second hand on my clock ticks, but it stays in place, so the hour and minute hands don't move. It ticks in time, but gets stuck until I hit it, goes a little, then gets stuck again. Help??

Do I have to put a new clock piece in it? Thank you so much!
