Didn't realize I was so busy...
Sep. 8th, 2006 10:53 pmOr not busy, depending on how you look at it.

I used that image to make a freezer paper stencil. The paint is Jacquard Lumiere from Michael's. It was commissioned by my brother for his friend.

Another iPod cozy... because I can. That's my sister's 30G cozied inside.

My first t-shirt surgery. My friend is taking screen printing in college and this was her first project. She bought a pack of XL men's shirts and they turned out to be frickin' huge. So I used my new old sewing machine to redo the seams.

Close up of design. She used pictures of a few of us playing Guitar Hero... I know, we're geeks. And photobucket doesn't flip 90 degrees?

A hat I made on my Knifty Knitter for my niece. It is FOUR strands of different yarn. Well, two strands of Red Heart Super Saver, one Patons Silverlash, and one Fun Fur from the Target One Spot.

And here it is rolled up and modeled by an unfinished amigurumi of my niece. I have two nieces and plan n making them both hats and dolls. I am thinking of using felt for the faces. The doll is a little wonky. I apparently crocheted in two different tensions for the legs. And I am going to add a few more rounds to the dress.

Finally, my first attempt at socks, and also first time with DPN's. I am practicing for Sock Wars! I think the pattern was a little off. It was a cuff down type and at the toe it instructed (i think) to decrease one row, knit straight across the next and repeat. That usually makes a cone, not a dome, right? Next time i will try to just to decreases every row.

Thanks for looking!
