I posted an entry yesterday about a unicorn tote I wanted to make. Well, I ended up going to Wal*Mart today and this is what I got:

1.) 2 yards of coral and white polka dot fabric
   - I'm going to use this for the sides, bottom and handle... it was the LAST bright polka dot fabric left! Soo happy!

2.) 2 yards of flower print fabric
   - I really wanted to make my sister a purse and since she loves Belle, I was going to iron a picture of Belle onto a purse in the same style as the unicorn one. Anyway, while I was thinking about what color to get for the sides, roses came to mind because of the enchanted rose yaddayaddayadda. I brought it home today and my sister being the huge pain in the butt that she is goes, "I changed my mind, I don't like the rose fabric now that I think about it... sorry *big smile*" Ughh! I'll use it for myself, I think it'll look good with a Thumbelina picture or maybe just by itself but still... I wanted to make it for HER.

3.) 1 yard of creamish/off white fabric
   - using this for the front and back of both but I'm using the fun prints for the lining so I didn't get much

4.) big buttons
   - I was thinking of trying to use one of these buttons to close the purse. I've never done buttons before, though, so we'll see how that one goes. If I do do it though, I'm using the purple one for the unicorn purse!

5.) two yards of interfacing

6.) 10 sheets of Epson Iron On Transfer Paper
   - I had no idea how expensive this crap would be, it BETTER work! I have an Epson Stylus C88 DuraBrite Ultra computer and I did some research to see which transfer paper worked best with it... I found out that the regular CHEAPER transfer paper ran and got all blotchy for a lot of people who have the same printer. I wanted to be on the safe side so I paid $16 for 10 sheets of paper when I probably only need one.

Also, my mom bought me Little Mermaid fabric off eBay because we couldn't find it anywhere else... I made a hobo kind of bag from it and it was the VERY first time I used the sewing machine:

Sorry for all the run ons. I have Psychology homework to do so I really rushed this!
