Okay, so.

I'm making real-life adaptations of these two costumes [Sandy and Sabochan of Tokidoki!] for my friend and I. I plan to make us corsets, mini skirts, legwarmers and for the top part...a shrug-style hoodie. My main problem is the spikes. I've thought about it and can't seem to come up with any material that will stick up off of the fabric and not just weigh down [one idea I had was to make them out of foam, somehow making the bottom of the cone solid and attatching a snap with the other snap portion on the fabric...but I'm not sure]. Also, attatching the spikes once I do figure out what to make them out of is an issue. Anyone got any ideas? Toss them at me. Thanks in advance!
