craftgrrl | Some wristwarmers, a box, a scarf, a book, a couple necklaces...

I really need to catch up on posting FO's. These are some of the things I've finished lately (and this is my first post! wheee...). Lots 'o pics.

Some wristwarmers I just made myself. I bought two small balls of some lovely merino silk warm which had very little yardage, so it had to be a small project. I love them. Crocheted.

The next several items are from a personal swap on Craftster (ssssh Amy, don't tell the other mods you've seen this. My partner has recieved, she just hasn't said so (shouldn't be hard to figure out who I had from that statement). (If there are other mods here, sssshh to you, too))

Handbound journal. This is the front cover. The back cover is covered in forest green colored paper. The leaf is sculpey cracked and chipped then painted to look antiqued (I have close ups of it, but I won't post them 'cuz there will be tons of pics as it is).

Every other page is decorated like this. All hand decoupaged, and the paper is torn so the fibres frayed. took foreeeever.

Cigar box I painted/antiqued. Same treatment for the leaf as the book.

Necklace. Preblocked, so it looks like crap. Crocheted.

Scarf, crocheted and then embroidered (first time embroidering :D).

Sculpey plant stick. HORRIBLE detail in this photo- it looks so much better in person. I had to crank the contrast just to get this much detail. poo.

There's more from the swap, but I won't post them. Those are just the ones I liked best :D

This is a necklace based on the Antrhopologie collar (I've been told that the patterns in Interweave, but I freehanded it. I'm crap with patterns and this was an easy one, anyway) I made for sweets4ever on Craftster as an engagement gift.
