Sep. 17th, 2006 09:56 pmHi, all...
I've been using Heat 'n' Bond to make a little applique out of cotton fabrics. However, I've decided the applique is too intricate to sew around all of the edges to secure the pieces (I did not tuck the edges under, just ironed on the raw fabric). The Heat 'n' Bond instructions say the material can be washed if edges are "sealed by painting".
What the heck are they talking about here, "painting"? They give no indication as to what I'm supposed to be painting it with, and I assume they don't mean PAINT paint. Any thoughts? I've tried FrayChek for this kind of thing before and it totally didn't work.
