haha! my last post isn't even cold yet! here's another:

my first attempt at puff sleeves on an XL decemberists shirt. failed somewhat, haha. but I still made the cute ringer sleeves/neck well!

A shirt I made parodying Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. yes.

Law and Order shirt, it says "rape...children...sometimes both!" on the back

second attempt at puff sleeves. still failed. from an XL shirt I got at APE

third attempt at puff sleeves, gettin' better. made from an XXL threadless shirt with light blue eyelet fabric accents. Shoudl I put a peter pan collar on this?

One of my favourites, made from an XXL threadless shirt with knit heart print fabric

Fourth attempt at puff sleeves and I succeeded!!! Made from an XXL threadless shirt with a vneck and puff sleeves<3

My Radiohead shirt; taken in from an XL W.A.S.T.E shirt, with a front panel and lace accents. Also with puff sleeves

neck/sleeve/lace detail

Rabbit Maria print silkscreened onto a shirt

shirt just taken in from an M Points for recognizing who's on the shirt!

More Rabbit Maria shirts. this was a two colour screen on a run of 30 shirts. ugh pain in the ass but the results are so good!

Sufjan Stevens shirts! We revamped the text to make it a lot more fun.

Rabbit Maria shirts packed to go to Bryce, the artist of the shirt (I did the menial labour..) who most of the sales benefit

nifty screened tag I made for all of the shirts

ugh best shirt ever! From an XXL Threadless shirt, with a wide vneck and "cowboy" shoulder accents and of course, PUFF SLEEVES

My favourite, even though it's quite loud. From an XXL Threadless shirt with brown piping, two keyholes, and again, puff sleeves

Last of the bunch. A hoodie I took in from an XXL from Walgreens and added a zipper.

I screened the Rabbit Maria print on the back

and made puff sleeves and attatched a zipper so the hood would zip on and off. I also made a two button tie for the neck. You can't really see it but all the accent stitching is done in teal thread.

and me! to match to all the headless models (yes, it's me doing really stupid america's next top model poses)

~phew!

Woww, I haven't posted this much in like two years! I've just been so lazy in taking phtoos of my shirts but I have been sewing like crazy! This summer was a major improvement period in my sewing. I'm real happy in how I've progressed, so these are in chronological order so you can see, lawlz

Anyhow, if i put some of these shirts on ebay or something for bid like shrinkle and other people do, would I make a (tidy) sum? My shirts would fit larger girls (cos I am pretty weighty) and I don't see a lot of fun recon out there in a size more than a small!

p.s. i should probably mention that I've been too lazy to learn how to use my coverlock machine to hem the bottoms of the shirts, hahaha. It'll be done at some point!

p.p.s. does someone have a shrinkle/limecrime/supayana garment that they could photograph inside out for me? i haven't the lifeof me figured out what to do with stitch or overlock tails.. I usually spend a lot of time weaving them into the shirt but how do you guys do it!!!

Constructive Criticism is great!! and I wouldn't turn down new friends both on lj and on flickr!
