Float Design EMERGENCY!

craftgrrlOkay, hey! Here's the situation:
This week is spirit week/homecoming week[end] and we need a float! Here's the design we have now [and more under cut]:
Haha. Our theme is countries and the country we chose is Mexico. Basically, we have more room that anticipated on the flat bed, and we are most likely eliminating the Mariachi band we were originally going to have. SO that gives us even more room. The statue that you see is connected to a Mayan temple that has steps that come out and would end up taking up about 3-4ft of the flatbed [only viewable from behind], but the rest is free. But what to do? We need something relatively cost-friendly and user-friendly. Any ideas? I appreciate it a bunch.
