New Stuff!
Sep. 27th, 2006 09:29 pmI mailed out five packages today and got the photo's taken of my custom jobs. I also got current on the new work so I could get it listed. Some of the new stuff I am trying was inspired by an Anne Geddes book. I'm not sure if it falls under the definition of a derivative work so I'm doing research before going much further.
The pictures are of one custom and my favorites.
Teapot Earrings. I made a teapot necklace for
shanin. This was another idea along the same lines.

This is the custom octopus earrings. The girl submitted a drawing and I designed off of it. They came out alot better than what I thought.

This is one of the Anne Geddes inspired works. While looking through the newspaper ads I noticed there are some Halloween custumes for babies that look like this. The other one I did was more of a copy but I was practicing making a baby look realistic. I will keep that one for myself or give it as a gift.

My first gold leaf necklace. The leaf is skelatonized and dipped in 24K gold. It was found with 10,000 others by a lady on one of my mailing lists. He father was a jewelry and she found these in his stash. They were purchased in the 1960's and never used. I made this for myself but it was too short for my fat neck :(

Another of the Anne Geddes style. I think this is generic enough to be ok as well.

This is an experiment with liquid resin and liquid polymer clay. I'm going to order another template and make an xmas present out of it.
