Time to delurk and actually post something! I'm amazed by all the really nice things that everyone makes. Haha, it almost makes me feel inadequate.

I took out my sewing machine from my closet this weekend for the first time, and yesterday, I made my very first...project. I'm amazed it only took me half an hour to sew. My best friend's birthday is next week and I decided to make her something with some fabric I bought for my apparel class but never used.



It's a pillow buddy. It's supposed to have ears but I forgot to sew them in. >_< I'll do that later by hand.


I think the fabric in the back is really cute. I was lucky that the fleece matched with it.


The mouth took me forever to stitch as perfectly as I could.

I hope she'll like it. I might just keep it for myself.
