Costume help?

craftgrrlI'm going to make a Kodama costume for an anime con. How should I make the head? I was thinking tape some balloons together to make the lumpy shape, and do paper mache, but I don't know how well that would work. I have about a month and a half. Suggestions for what to do with my feet would also be great.
I'm ordering this in white to wear as the body. And I'm going to buy some white gloves as well.
