MY stupid dog just ate a hot-glue stick. It wasn't in use, so it wasn't hot or anything, but there's not an emergency vet in my town where I can either call or take her to. I know a lot about cats, but not much about dogs (it's actually my parents' dog). Is she going to be okay? I looked up "hot glue sticks" online and I've only found brands that are labled "non-toxic", so does that mean it's okay? I mean, I'm not going to go on a hay day here and feed her buckets of them or anything since they're non-toxic, I just want to make sure one isn't going to kill Muffy or maim her in some way. Thoughts? Help...?

ETA:

First off, thanks for all of the responses, I really appreciate it! One of the websites in the comments said that to get her to vomit, we could put a tspish of salt on the back of her tongue. She didn't quite care for that, but after at least a tsp of it, still no pukey.

Steph 2. Hydrogen peroxide. Will it react with salt? Who knows. Did we feed it to her? Yes. Did she hork? No. And she begged for more of the stuff. ::pokes dog in the stomach::

She's not any more lethargic than usual and she's not acting unhappy or anything, so I guess she's okay for now. Poison control gave me more advice on making her barf, but it was pretty much all the same stuff, so bully to them. She's currently sleeping like a puddle of dog on my mom's bed. We shall see how she feels in the morning...
