Wax off clothes?

craftgrrlThis isn't exactly crafty, but I thought crafty folk might know the answer to this:
What is the best way to get wax off clothes?
Someone accidentally jostled a candle I was holding and it spilled wax all over my nice black shirt.
I tried just peeling it off but it is leaving white residue.
Anyone know the best way to go about cleaning the shirt?
