stitching on the tail and fins; I was going to include these in the actual sweater seams and then decided not to because I might take them off and just wear the sweater sometimes.




For Halloween, I was a Narwhal!! I figured that I might as well make the costume this year because I'd have no facilities to make it next year when I'm in college! I'm going to be a narwhal again next year to make a bunch of friends because everyone loves a narwhal! I know the colouring is all wrong but I couldn't find a big enough hoodie to work with.

The costume is made from an XL hanes navy blue hoodie with this weird green sweater material I got on discount for .99. I added a zipper, flippers, and tail, all made out of spare pieces of the original hoodie. Then I splattered the whole thing in white/silver acrylic paint, sewed on the horn and eyes! hurrah!! I admit that it is a bit sloppy and I might end up giving in and making an accurate costume out of a white hoodie sooner or later!
