No Christmas?!

My parents have decided we're not going to celebrate Christmas this year cos it's too expensive, but Christmas is my favorite time of year and I want to still celebrate it, so do any of you guys out there have ideas for super-cute, yet relatively cheap Christmas-y things I can make? :D I can cross-stitch, sew (but not too well), and obviously cut-and-paste, paint, etc, and I have a job and get about a hundred bucks a week, so that's the budget.

Ideas I've had so far are Christmas clip-on earrings and maybe making some little felt Christmasy dolls, like Santa and Rudolph. Anything I'll make I'll post and all ideas are appreciated! Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Oops, I probably should have said I live in Australia. :D So I don't have access to a lot of American stores, but I've got stuff like Spotlight and discount stores like Crazy Clark's and Big W.
