Ok, I went into Barnes & Nobel today with my husband...yeah, we're not even thru the second set of doors when I spot this knitting kit for -dog sweaters-.
Mind you, I don't knit. I have not clue how, but he bought it for me, we went and got yarn and now I am learning. And get this...I don't even own a freakin dog!
BUT, the kit came with wooden needles. THEY MAKES ME WANT TO POKE MYSELF IN THE EYE! I need metal ones I think because it's too hard to learn on these when the yarn doesn't move around much.
anyway, if you gals have any tips for beginners, or websites with video tutorials that would be AWESOME.
I'm very excited about this new hobby and want to excell all it but I need your help and support! Right now I am learning the first step of casting and I gotta say...was not finding it very easy. I know how to do it now, but yeah, the wood needles are driving me up the wall.
So keep your fingers crossed that I can figure out my first stitched row without breaking these sticks. They are so cute too with dogs on the ends. Very fun.
Ok, off to practice. Thanks for reading my excitement post!
