i'm looking for information about heat sensitive inks or a heat sensitive process that could be applied to a either a waterslip decal (or some other kind) for a ceramic mug. by heat sensitive i mean it disappears when there is heat or hot liquid in the mug. i've seen promotional materials and i know such inks exist, i was just wondering if there was something out there that was made in a DIY fashion for this sort of thing. could be ink or some kind of decal i can cut out and place over my other decal...??

i want to make my boyfriends dad a mug with a pinup girl whose clothes disappear when you pour in hot liquid. i know i could buy one of these but i thought it would be cooler to do something that was my own artwork.

or at least if anyone knows of a manufacturer that would be willing to make just one (most of the sites i've found will only do bulk..)

TIA!
