Evening purse
Dec. 4th, 2006 11:31 pmMy mum complained of not having a nice little purse for going out, so I made her one. I apologize for the extraordinary badness of the photos, my webcam is horrible, but my camera has decided to no longer function.

It's a bit larger than most evening purses, but my mum has some medication etc she needs to carry with her.

The little flower on the side. I just cut a strip of the fabric and ran a thread through the bottom of it, then bunched it up.

The fabric on the inside. The camera can't pick up the loveliness of the this fabric; it's blue and shimmers gold. My mum has a costume made out of it, and gave me a scrap she had.
There is a tiny problem (not visible) I didn't notice until it was too late, but there's some dents in the vinyl, I guess from my fingernails when I was pulling it. It's not visible when it's closed, but does anyone have any idea how I can get it flattened? (aside from having my very large cat sleep on it, which he has decided to do)?
