a quick question for any sculpey experts...

my boyfriend and i made an ornament for a friends tree trimming party. its got tinfoil inside to make the basic structure, covered in sculpey that we can paint. that may or may not have been a good idea, but anyway its already done and looks cute.

but now im worried that it wont really hold up well long term... is there anything i can coat it with to strengthen it? we are planning to paint it with acrylics, but i cant imagine that adding strength.
