craftgrrl | Bottle Cap Covered End Table? (Reply)

So my boyfriend has TONS of bottle caps. He's been saving the caps from every bottle he's drank for something like 4+ years, so I do mean tons. One of his fraternity brothers has an end table covered with his bottle caps and I know he would just die to have a table like that of his own. We have enough room in the office to put a small end table. My question is: how in the world do I make this project come to life? I have no clue how to attach the bottle caps. They'd need to be ultra sturdy as we have two very inquisitive cats. It also can't be anything way complicated unless I can find a tutorial for it because this will be my first time attempting this kind of project. So... any ideas?

Also, I'm very new to these types of projects, so I may ask more questions if you suggest something I'm not familiar with. Thanks in advance for your patience. You ladies are the greatest!
