i'm sculpting an ostrich for school. i used aluminum armiture wire and tinfoil for the body, brass tubing for the one leg connected to the platform with plumber's epoxy to connect it to the rest of the body. this was advice from my teacher, because he knew i would have problems with the body being heavier than the one leg connecting to the platform and it weighing it down. however, it still weighs it down AND it sways about on the platform. so i'm coming to you guys. any suggestions on what i could use on this project to not make the ostrich body sway around/stand up more? i've been told termicide and liquid nails would probably help, but i wanted to get more suggestions. thanks for your help!

oh, and sorry for the quality of the picture. i'm obviously not done either. i've only done the basic form of it, which was then baked, and i have now started on the feathers. however, the clay on the leg connecting to the platform has started breaking off, because the body is so heavy. this is such a ridiculous problem to have!
