So, my strange family and my strange self are having a rather unusual get-together in January, and inviting everyone we know! (For those who may be familiar with this idea, the get-together is a peasants feast, loosely modeled after those thrown by the late Johnathan Larson for his homies and cast of his little play called RENT, many years ago in New York City.) ... (Only ours will probably be void of pot smoking and poetry readings.) (Not that I condemn nor condone such socially taboo things as poetry readings, personally.) (Shall I move on, now?)
Yes!
So I decided that, since this particular get together is going to be of a rather unusual nature, (Naaahhh!! What created that idea?!?) our invitations should also be of an unusual nature!
So thank you Archie McPhee, for your catalog, which, among other magazines, I happily cut to ribbons, and my own insomnia for your... weird things that you do to my brain... and here are my collaged invitations!:

My favorite one is the 5th, there, the drummer dude. ^_^
I hope to figure out some way to coerce Photoshop into lining these up correctly to print on cardstock, so that I can make copies that way. We're inviting somewhere around 30-40 people, and, after my Christmas card making extravaganza, I don't really fancy sitting around and making quite that many cards all by hand again, so soon.
SO! Hooray! Sharing! :D
