It's made out of green wire, has a CD-ROM for the base, a strand of LED lights, and nuts and bolts for ornaments. Hooray for geekiness.
It turned out a bit... strange, because I really had no clue how to go about turning wire into a tree. And after I went looking all around town for the right kind of green wire at hardware, craft, electronics, and bead stores (and not finding anything that would work for under $37592765927592), I finally found a giant roll of it in the bottom of a drawer in a closet downstairs, by chance, when I was looking for something else. It was marked 99 cents, and no one in my house had ever seen it before. Divine intervention?
