craftgrrl | Christmas Present one of...far too many

I've been planning to make little dolls for my friends for Christmas for aaages, drafting random patterns and the like until finally, today, I actually made the first of them. After my first attempt looked rather like a condom, I reworked my pattern and finally, finally, the first has been finished!

Sitting up, obviously keeping an eye on things.

You may have noticed she has no hair - I can't find any wool, and I'm still not entirely sure how to make it (any hair suggestions are welcome). She also has no shoes, but I refuse to make them. She's far from perfect, really, but I love her regardless. I'm calling her Jeanie for now, and I may write a tiny little story to go with her when I hand her over. I still have...five to go. And a pair of fingerless gauntlets. I'm not expecting to be done for Christmas, but since I'll only be seeing them in early January I'm not all too worried, I can get them done by then :3
