Another Christmas Gift quilt
Jan. 5th, 2007 11:04 amHere is another quilt for Christmas. This was for my Aunt Maureen and my Uncle Bill.
This quilt does have a lot going on, between the very busy fabrics, and the extrodinary amount of quilting, but it's good. There is just something new to discover every day.
Here is the whole thing. I know you can't really see the quilting. We actually forgot to take ANY good pictures of the quilting, so I'm kinda bummed.

Here is an artsy fartsy drapey shot. You can sort of see the quilting. The VERY quilted area a probibly 2.5' X 2.5' area in the middle of the quilt that I drew a HUGE "S" for there last name, and then quilted heavily around it. Then I did this funky sashing kinda thing around that part, and then my circle swirly things around that.

Here is a shot of the backing. I LOVE the backing fabric.

And a crappy detail shot, which is kinda fuzzy. (SAD!)
