The FUN way to learn knitting!
Jan. 14th, 2007 12:33 am*EDIT* I switched to an easier-to-upload service. Hopefully this helps! Thanks
molasses!
I learned how to knit from this book! It was my mother's when she was a girl. I've made a PDF of the book located
here. It's about to fall apart and I wanted to preserve it somehow. I especially like the visuals for how to make a starting slip knot.
I made the donkey mitt for a friend, and named him Donkey Hotay (say it out loud, you'll get it). They can stretch over an adult hand but are more made for kids hands.
It doesn't seem that Newlands has been in business for ages, they were a Canadian company.
