I bought this dress at the GAP outlet store. It was on sale and I loved the colors. It was also strapless and I can’t imagine when I would ever show my shoulders in public but I was thinking I could wear it with a cardigan or a denim jacket—except that didn’t eliminate the boning things sticking me in my ribs or the constant desire to tug the dress up because of the constant fear the dress was sliding down In other words it looked real nice hanging in my closet but I never wore it….

SOOOOO….

I took out the long zipper, removed the top portion, put in a short zipper ( my first zipper) and made a waistline, threw in a few darts and finished it with some Bias tape.
