Coloured Etching?

craftgrrlI plan on doing some glass etching tomorrow, but I'm tired of the plain white frosty look. Is it possible to mix some glass paint that I already have (or any other type of paint) with the etching goop to make it coloured? Has anyone tried this? How does it turn out? TIA!
