As it turns out, the supposed state football champs of '71,
the Bakersfield Buffalo, are...... -gasp!-
NON-EXISTENT.

What is this anyway, I hear you wonder. It's a laptop sleeve!

On the contrary though, Bakersfield is a very real place in Kern County, California. Ch-ch-check it out.

As you can or can't tell, this isn't exactly a snug fit, so I sewed these -reads label- prym stud things on to keep my laptop from sliding out.
Oh well, I guess I can coil my wires and mouse and webcam up and stick them in there too.

It's pretty awesome, and I basically love it. I'm thinking of shoving some polyfil down the underside of the shirt (cos there's a pocket created in between 2 layers of fabric) to pad and cushion my laptop a bit. I'll see how it works out, eh?

It was pretty simple to make after I got all the measurements down (but still stuffed up cos I gave too much allowance for error), but still took about 2+ hours to do? It'd probably have taken just half an hour if I had a sewing machine lol. But doing things by hand is fun anyway.

To make your own, follow vox's extremely simple instructions here. This is the original iShirt.

I can just hear my fellow university classmates-to-be thinking 'WTF?!' as I pull out what seems like a rigid t-shirt out of my bag in the lecture hall.
